If so, please send a copy of your resume and cover letter.Who we are seekingThe Accounting Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing and managing financial operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities range from recurring, ongoing assignments to project-based initiatives that arise as we grow. Responsibilities include working with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting, analyze financial and operational information, develop budgets and forecasts and collaborate across the organization on various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience in accounting and financial reporting, effective communication skills and a desire to work with a dynamic, growing organization.LocationWashington D.C. / Maryland / Virginia (hybrid, 1 - 2 office days per week)In this job you will

• Support accounting operations and financial reporting - Work with internal team members and external accountants to ensure accurate reporting and efficient monthly close.
• Analyze operational and financial data - Organize and analyze information to develop insights that inform strategic decision-making, improve efficiency and ultimately support business growth.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Collaborate with executives across the organization to develop forecasts in support of financial and strategic planning.
• Execute projects - Work with CFO to manage various financial projects that arise in support of growth initiatives.
• Support audit and tax matters - Work with external accountants in support of audit and tax obligations.You're a fit for this role if you bring
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA.
• 2 to 5 years working as Auditor or in a role performing detailed analysis of financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple workflows simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with software or recurring revenue businesses.Compensation and benefits
• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
• Benefits include vacation leave, a comprehensive health care plan, providing access to medical, dental, and vision coverage.
