extension.The Congressional Research Service, Office of
Administrative Operations is offering a 120-day opportunity for a
qualified individual at the GS-7 or GS-8 to serve on a full-time
temporary promotion to the GS-9 OR a qualified individual at the
GS-9 (no promotion) to serve on a full-time detail as a Program
Management Assistant in the Procurement and Administrative Services
Section.The Program Management Assistant assists in the execution
of a wide range of duties relating to information management,
organization and analysis; program coordination and logistical
support; creation and processing of administrative documents (some
through on-line systems such as the Library's automated personnel
processing system, staffing system, and financial/procurement
system). Candidates with knowledge of performing calendar and
scheduling functions, and making logistical arrangements for a
variety of topics related to the business of the office; creating
identification badges for staff and contractors; using the
Library's automated request services system to create varied work
orders; conducting periodic surveys of equipment and property
utilization; providing administrative support to the space
management function by assisting with the coordination of office
moves, office construction, and other facility improvements are

permanent or indefinite position at the GS-7, GS-8 or 09 level. Due
to no intervening grade, applicants who are currently at the GS-07
level do not need to meet time in grade at the GS-08
