Bon Secours Mercy Health Richmond, Virginia Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner ( NP ) Opportunity The comprehensive heart surgery program at Bon Secours is seeking a talented NP to join their team at St. Mary's and Memorial Regional Hospital. Our NPs work in conjunction with Cardiac Surgeons in the care of heart surgery patients, which includes CABG, Valve repair/replacements, Impella devices, IABPs and ECMO. Duties and Responsibilities of the Cardiac Surgery NP include but are not limited to:

• Assessment and management of daily care of inpatients (From ICU to stepdown) including rounds, assessment, progress notes and placing orders.
• Daily participation and management with multidisciplinary services that support the service line.
• Performing admissions, consults & discharges for service line.
• Removal of devices including chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, IABPs. Responsible for post-op follow-up visits and surgical consults in office setting. The Heart Surgery program is a busy and established practice currently performing 750-800 cases per year.
