looking for a highly motivated junior Test Engineer. The Test
Engineer position entails working with internal teams to test the
quality, functionality and performance of development products. The
candidate must also be able to obtain a Secret DoD clearance as
well.Assigned tasks may include the development of test plans,
procedures, integration and security requirements. The Test
Engineer will coordinate with the Sales Engineering team and the
Development team to accomplish project tasks, provide technical
solutions, integration, and to support the development lifecycle.In
this job, you will:
Work as part of a diverse team of
testers in a dynamic environment.Develop and execute test plans,
procedures, and results.Apply critical thinking skills to devise
test procedures to assess product compliance with NCDSMO RTB
requirements.Interact with multiple Redmine instances to capture
test processes.Make recommendations to the test team lead and
manager for tools, techniques, and practices that can improve the
overall test program within CSP.Generate technical documentation
(e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) of proposed and
completed test cycles.Join support engineering staff at local DMV
area deployments to broaden the understanding of how CSP products
are deployed and used.Work closely with the software support
engineering and development teams.Required Education, Experience, &
Skills Ability to obtain a Secret security clearancePossess an
understanding of and be able to apply technical principles,
theories, and concepts in the field of test engineering with a
general knowledge of other related (mechanical, electrical and
software) disciplinesDemonstrated knowledge of testing methods and
methodologies The ability to engage constructively with peers and
technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs,
and technical decisionsEffective communication skills (both verbal
and written)Understanding and application of modern software
development and systems engineering practices, design principles,
techniques, and technologiesCapable of writing detailed test
proceduresCapable of learning new systems quicklyExperience with
RHEL, Centos (or similar Linux based OS),Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills Bachelor of Science degree in
engineering/technical disciplineExperience or equivalent
experience, training and/or certificationsTeam player with a
proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a
dynamic/collaborative environmentVirtualization - VM Ware Player,
Workstation, ESXiExperience with Information Assurance concepts and
processes within the Federal government.Knowledge of and experience
with Federal security regulations, standards, and processesCISSP,
CEH, COMP TIA, Network+ certifications are a big plus.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $63653 - $108210Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
