Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated MSAT Associate to join our team at a leading biopharmaceutical company in Rockville, MD. The MSAT Associate will be responsible for providing technical and logistical support to manufacturing operations for both commercial and clinical products in a GMP environment. This is an 8-month contract position with the potential for conversion to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical/biochemical engineering, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related life sciences/engineering fields.

Responsibilities



Provide support to Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) associates in ensuring smooth operations for commercial and clinical product manufacturing.
Assist in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and materials in manufacturing, including change control processes where applicable.
Support investigations of deviations to identify root causes and assess product impact.
Gather and analyze data to identify solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
Use statistical tools to help identify areas for continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
Participate in continuous process monitoring and apply statistical tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and process robustness.
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives to improve overall manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences/engineering field.
Experience with commercial-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
Strong understanding of bioprocessing equipment and systems
Analytical skills; able to analyze data and identify trends to solve complex manufacturing challenges
