FUNCTIONSHandles phone correspondence, providing pre-appointment
preparation and safety screenings in advance of upcoming patient
appointments and communicates this to clinical
colleagues.Demonstrates success in customer service, phone
etiquette, communication and organizational skills.Proficiently
maintains and uses knowledge of scheduling systems, patient
information and insurance verification requirements and
processes.Demonstrates knowledge of office practices and software
programs.Collaborates with all Imaging Center staff to facilitate
timely patient care.Proficiently maintains and uses knowledge of
office equipment including, but not limited to, fax machines,
computers, and printers.Maintains records and files, compiles data
and prepares reports.May perform supply inventory management and/or
medical record management.Research requests and provides support to
resolve and answer.May perform special projects that require
additional training and skills, as assigned.Takes the initiative to
help other modalities/areas of the Imaging Center as assigned or
when own workload/area allows.Participates in performance
improvement activities.Participates as a team member and is
accountable for own work responsibilities.Demonstrates consistent
use of AIDET (Acknowledge patient, Introduce yourself, provide
Duration/timeline for test, Explain the process & Thank them for
choosing our center) and HEAL (Hear them out, Empathize, Apologize,
& Leap into action to solve) when interacting with
patients/customer.Attends/participates in staff meetings,
in-services, & center-wide meetings as scheduled.Performs all other

- Patient Coordinator II - Business Office Supervisor - Business
Office ManagerThe Business Office Team is responsible for
collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing
excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for
both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer
and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming,
registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone
correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical
record management. The upper levels of this series also include the
training, supervision, and management of Business Office team
members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure
the management and resources are available to maintain a quality,
high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging
Center.Requirements:EDUCATION:To be competitive, must have high
school diploma or general education degree
(GED)SKILLS/ABILITIES:Ability to work independently and
multitask.Ability to provide documentation accurately and
concisely.Knowledge of medical terminology.Knowledge of computer
