Job Title: IT Procurement Lead

Job Summary:
The IT Procurement Lead will oversee purchasing activities related to IT transformation projects. This role involves evaluating and managing existing global IT contracts, negotiating new software licensing agreements, and collaborating with internal engineering teams to meet project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Assessment & Management: Review and analyze current software agreements, identify contractual relationships, and implement necessary adjustments, including transfers, assignments, and renegotiations.

Vendor Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with major suppliers (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, VMware) to secure favorable terms and ensure software licenses align with project timelines.

Data Consolidation & Reporting: Manage and organize data from approximately 100 IT contracts, providing clear summaries and insights for leadership.

Collaboration: Work closely with IT engineering teams to align purchasing strategies with project requirements.






Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in IT Procurement: Strong knowledge of IT purchasing, including software licensing agreements, contract terms, and negotiation strategies.

Detail-Oriented: Ability to thoroughly review and interpret contract terms.

Independent & Proactive: Self-starter capable of managing a contract database and working with minimal supervision.

Data Proficiency: Skilled in organizing and summarizing large datasets.






Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

10+ years of experience in IT procurement, contract negotiation, or a related field
