Financial Analyst will propose recommendations to improve
profitability and increase return on investment. They will be
responsible for the integrity of financial information including
understanding cost allocation processes and the data included in
project or product business cases.Day-to-Day Role:
- Support procurement and strategic sourcing by providing
data-driven analysis and cost optimization insights to enhance
category management and raw material savings.
- Partner with procurement to analyze spend, supplier costs, and
category trends, identifying cost savings opportunities.
- Develop and analyze KPIs related to procurement, cost savings,
and inventory management.
- Support the AOP process, monitor budget variances, and track
supply chain expenditures.
- Provide scenario analysis to assess financial impacts of
sourcing, inventory decisions, and carry costs, optimizing working
capital.
- Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to
forecast inventory needs, manage levels, and mitigate material
obsolescence risks.
- Contribute financial expertise to business goals, financial
plans, and forecasting, including cost, revenue, and margin
targets.
- Prepare and monitor forecasts for the monthly IBP and annual
AOP process.
- Analyze financial performance including customer pricing,
incentive programs, cost centers, and logistics costs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management,
providing financial analysis on initiatives, cost-saving measures,
and investment opportunities.
- Develop ROI analyses for capital projects like new products and
automation.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with teams across
Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Product.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to
support business decisions.
- Ensure data consistency across teams including Power BI,
Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.Core Skills and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting,
business, or related field of study and five (5) years of
experience in FP&A or related role
- Financial analysis and modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the
ability to effectively communicate financial information to
non-financial stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building
relationships
- Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic,
fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by
rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing
priorities
- Functional/technical skills including problem solving, drive
for results, decision quality, interpersonal savvy, strategic
agility and innovative thinking
- Experience working on Food Service and National Accounts
industry, preferred
